When the client arrives for their appointment:

• An intake form is completed by the client

• The practitioner and client has a short consultation addressing questions or concerns

• The client stays completely clothed laying on a massage table for the energy therapy session which usually lasts an hour

• The client has the option for the practitioner to provide Reiki with light touch (around the head, shoulders, arms, abdomen, legs and feet) or no touch (hands hovering 3 to 6 inches above the body)

• The practitioner's hands are held at each location mentioned above for a few minutes and then moved to the next location for the energy to flow and move through any stagnate energy that may be held by the client. Reiki assists in the restoration of the body's energetic alignment and balance; no tissue is manipulated. 

Hello and welcome to The Little Lotus webpage. Julia "Julie" is a native of Vietnam but has been home in the USA since she was four years old. She enjoys reading and learning new methods that assist in healing the mind, body, and spirit. Her motto is "Peace, Love and Compassion" and if we mindfully practice this daily it will help reduce our stress levels. 

Julia's Reiki journey began in 2021 when she received her first Reiki session to relieve the excruciating foot pain from plantar fasciitis. She is a Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master who enjoys teaching and describes her work as providing a relaxation technique that helps her clients tap into their own innate ability to heal. Her Reiki practice, The Little Lotus, is located in Pilot Mountain, NC and she is a Reiki teacher for Lovingkindness School of Reiki located in Clemmons, NC.
